OUTDOOR DINING SEASON
Finally it's here – the spring sunshine and the outdoor dining season! There is nothing better than to feel spring knocking on the door for all of us sun worshippers. We suggest some awesome outdoor locations in Stockholm and Gothenburg for you below.
ARTILLERIET
Right next to the Army Museum on Östermalm hides the somewhat secret restaurant Artilleriet. A popular place for both business lunches and bubbly after work drinks. But what many don’t know is that they also house a really nice outdoor terrace with an unbeatable sun position all day! Come here and warm yourself in the spring and summer sun and look out over the large square outside.
BRASSERIE BALZAC
If you like classic French sidewalk dining and people watching, you should head to Brasserie Balzac on Odengatan. Finish your work lunch with an espresso or enjoy a glass of rosé and watch the busy crowds in Vasastan.
LEVANTINE
At French bistro Levantine, a stone's throw from Vasaparken in Gothenburg, you can enjoy a glass of wine in a wonderful outdoor seating! During summertime they also open up in the park with an even larger outdoor seating area, a boule court and everything else needed for festive summer days.
SKANSHOF
On the roof of an old bank now lies restaurant Skanshof – with a guaranteed sun position and a view of Skansen Kronan. Revel in seafood and wine, and enjoy the beautiful views. In summer you can also sit in the lush park area which has become a bit of an oasis filled with large trees, shrubs and beautiful flowers.
BLECK
Perhaps one of Södermalm's best outdoor locations? Endless hours of sunshine and a view of Lilla Blecktornsparken where people are always on the move. Come here for an after work or dinner and order some small dishes to share. Or opt for a luxurious Friday lunch!
OAXEN
If just the sun isn’t enough, then perhaps one of Stockholm's most beautiful views that gives a true archipelago feeling does it? Head out to Djurgården and Michelin-awarded Oaxen Krog for some fine dining with Nordic flavors.

TAK
For typical city and rooftop hangouts à la New York, head to TAK's popular rooftop terrace. In summer, this location is unbeatable, as evidenced by the constant crowd. Enjoy some refreshing drinks, a long lunch or an afternoon BBQ.
ZAMENHOF
Zamenhof on Esperantoplatsen houses three restaurants under one roof: Café Gazette, MayDay and The Silver Lining. The concept here is all day dining where you can order whatever you want from the menu all day! In addition, they offer wine on tap and a really sunny location on the outdoor terrace.
